Valeo WebEDI Survey at a glance …
End of last year we made an survey overall WebEDI suppliers. Now the results are available. The results show, that the application and the service around the Valeo WebEDI system generally with 78% satisfaction do currently mostly fit to the needs of Valeo suppliers.

 Start new process ...
... call off with the Go live of the second plant at the 3th of July 2006 in Kohnan, Japan from the Branch compressor.
The replenishment of the flat storage at Valeo is managed with the new call off process. Based on the Kanban calls or the new developed pullist, the demands are distributed automatically to the WebEDI. More information, you will find in the latest training document.

 New language Portuguese available on WebEDI
A rollout project of the Valeo Compass Group template has started for 7 plants from different Branches in Brasil. The first plants will go live in October 2006. The project will be finalised in 2007.

Go live for Valeo WebEDI OBP Rel. 3.3

The current Rel. 3.2 will be replaced with the new version on Saturday, the 1st of December 2007. Therefore the system will be not available on Saturday from 8 am till 8 pm CET. This new version will include some new functions, especially for the process delivery and transport data, but also new processes will be provided, like the credit note for consignment. With the migration we will also move to the latest hardware technology, based on VMware (virtual machines). This change will improve again the response time and the scalability of the system.
